THE CAPTAIN'S MEETING

No entries will be accepted after the Captain's Meeting. There will be no refunds of entry fees.
The rules of this tournament may be amended verbally or in writing at the Captain's Meeting. Anglers are responsible for knowing all the rules. It is mandatory that one person per boat in the Recreation and Kayak Divisions attend the Captain's meeting. Dinner and entertainment will be provided. There will be a full cash bar.
ENTRY FEES
RECREATIONAL DIVISION (OFF SHORE AND IN SHORE)
$50 per person (entries received after midnight April 22 - $60 per person)
Entrants receive one (1) ticket to the Captain's Meeting, and
one (1) tournament hat
KAYAK DIVISION
$50 per person (entries received after midnight April 22 - $60 per person)
Entrants receive one (1) ticket to the Captain's Meeting, and
one (1) tournament hat
YOUTH DIVISION
$25 per person (entries received after midnight April 22 - $35 per person)
Entrants receive one (1) tournament hat
KINGFISH JACKPOT
$100 (per boat)

$75 (per boat)
Any Youth who is registered and WEIGHS IN
will be eligible to win a 12 foot G-3 Jon Boat, Yamaha Outboard and Trailer.
Any Kayak Angler who is registered and WEIGHS IN
will be eligible to win a Native Redfish 12’ Angler Kayak.
All Lady Anglers (18 years and older) that
are registered and WEIGH IN will be eligible
to win a prize package.

This is a boat tournament. Everyone in a boat in the Recreational Division must be registered in the tournament. Anglers must be at least 18 years of age or have a signed parent/guardian release to enter as a team member.
Tournament fishing hours begin (First Lines in the Water) at 5:30AM EDT on Saturday, April 28, 2012. All fishing in all divisions continues without interruption until to 4:00PM EDT on Sunday, April 29, 2012. All entries must be weighed at the Rock Landing Dock. Any fish may be cut open. Any fish to be considered for weigh-in must be in line and entrant signed in not later than 4:00PM EDT on Sunday, April 29, 2012.
A fish may only win one place in each division. You can place in more than one fish category but you cannot win more than one place per fish category. Only fish weighed in the presence of a registered Team Member, present at the weigh in location prior to the weigh-in time, from the boat that caught the fish will be considered officially entered in the tournament.
All fish presented for weigh-in must be fresh, in edible condition, and must be caught on tournament day. Acceptability of fish will be determined by the Tournament Judge. All fish must adhere to recreational size and bag limits of the State of Florida.
Rule violations, the eligibility of entrants or entered fish, disqualifications, and any other matters not specifically covered by these rules will be decided by the Tournament Judge in consultation with the Tournament Chairman. The Tournament Judge may disqualify any person who commits any violation of tournament rules. Decisions of the Tournament Judge are final and non-negotiable for all entrants

Fish must have been caught personally by the registered entrant who is credited with the catch in tournament scoring, using legal methods during legal hours of fishing tournament. Any angler that wins a prize may be subject to a polygraph test (lie-detector). The Tournament reserves the right to amend the lengths and/or remove any fish from competition, without notice, at any time in order to comply with federal and/or state requirements.
Anglers must hook and fight their own fish on a single rod and reel. Anglers are allowed to keep their fish. All unwanted edible fish will be donated to charity. Entrants are responsible for removing their own fish, following the final award ceremony. Any fish remaining in cold storage after the close of the final awards ceremony shall become the property of the tournament. International Game Fish Association rules will prevail. All fish must be caught on rod and reel. Electric reels are allowed. Deck mounted winch devices ("one-armed bandits") are prohibited. Live bait is permitted. Any protests concerning conduct or violations of rules must be filed in writing with the Tournament Judge the last day of the tournament no later than 6:00PM EDT.
Tournament winners will be awarded their prizes during the ceremonies held immediately after final weigh-in at center stage. In the event of a tie in weight/length, the winner shall be determined by the earliest weigh-in time.
No refunds will be given. The Tournament will be held, regardless of weather conditions. All boats and anglers are responsible for their own well-being and the determination of safe sea conditions. All entrants participate in the tournament at their own risk. All participating anglers must possess a valid Florida Saltwater Fishing License unless fishing with a commercial charter boat and applicable permits.

TOURNAMENT JACKPOT
Kingfish Jackpot
$100 (per boat)
Entrants in the Recreational Division have the option of entering the Kingfish Jackpot for an additional fee.
Payout for this prize will be $2,500.
Trout Jackpot
$75 (per boat)
Entrants in the Recreational Division have the option of entering the Trout Jackpot for an additional fee.
Payout for this prize will be $1,500.
ALL FISH MUST ADHERE TO RECREATIONAL SIZE
AND BAG LIMITS OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA
LADY ANGLERS
All Lady Anglers (18 year and older) that are registered and weighs in will be eligible for a drawing to win a prize package, which includes a piece of jewelry. Female anglers registered in the Youth Division are not eligible.
YOUTH DIVISON
The Youth Division includes anglers under the age of 18. Each entrant must complete the Consent and Release Form. This form must be signed by the parent or guardian. Any Youth in the Youth Division, who is registered and WEIGHS IN, will be eligible to win a 12 foot G-3 Jon Boat, Yamaha Outboard, and Trailer.
An Angler (under the age of 18) can register in other divisions. However, only Youth Division anglers that weigh in are eligible to win the boat, outboard, and trailer.
TOURNAMENT HATS AND T-SHIRTS
Hats and t-shirts may be pre-ordered or purchased at the event. Pre-paid orders will be available at the event. Entrant's hats will be available at the Captain's Meeting. The first 250 entrants to register will also receive “Goody Bags.”
TOURNAMENT ORGANIZATION
Tournament Officials, Panacea Waterfronts Florida Partnership Members, Tournament Committee Members, Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners, Wakulla County Parks & Recreation Department, and all other persons directly or indirectly connected with the operation of the tournament are exempt from any liability for loss, damage, injury, negligence, or harm to any entrant or equipment which may occur during the tournament.
The Panacea Waterfronts Florida Partnership is a community based organization designated by the State of Florida, Department of Community Affairs, and Waterfronts Florida Program for the purpose of planning, design, beautification, and revitalization of the coastal community of Panacea. Funds raised from this Tournament will benefit the revitalization of projects of the Panacea Area and further the goals of the Partnership for assuring public access to the waterfront.
